The National Resistance Movement EC boss Tanga Odoi has denominated Ms Nakku Fiona from the National Female Youth MP slot over old age.
This has been detailed in a letter dated August 18th from Dr. Tanga to Ms. Nakku Fiona.
Tanga alleges, several complaints have been logged to the NRM Electoral Commission, but “most prominently Mr. Amanya Aaron through ABNO Advocates.”
“The National Identification and Registration Authority has now written to the Rt. Hon Secretary by letter of 18th August 2025 confirming that you are not eligible to contest for the position on the National Youth Council.” Dr. Tanga wrote.
He added that following such advice, the NRM EC is legally obliged to denominate her from the position of National Female Youth MP flag bearer as you do not qualify to be nominated at the National level based on your age.
“We therefore communicate that you shall not be a contestant in the upcoming election for the said position,” Tanga said.
