This website can exclusively report that Uganda’s joint intelligence service bosses have alerted Noordin Haji the Kenyan National Intelligence Service (NIS) Director General about the ongoing riot mobilization training of the National Unity Platform (NUP) youths commonly known as foot soldiers
Highly placed sources in Ugandan intelligence told Ono Bwino that a few weeks back, a section of NUP foot soldiers led by a one Robert Mutebi a resident of Bwaise One Parish, Martin Seku, Bobi Lash and Shamim alias Manyi Ganjegere among others sneaked into Kenya to undergo capacity building in countering security, digital amplification, and resilience allegedly aimed at inciting violence ahead of the 2026 general election.
Intelligence sources claim that the youths travelled separately not in groups to avoid being detected by security and used different routes and have been camping in different cities including Kisumu, Nairobi and Mombasa.
Sources insist that the entire travel was organized by a one Evans Oduba the secretary NUP Kenya Chapter and also a former contact to late Dr Agrey Kiyingi who declared an armed struggle against Museveni government between 2014 unto his death in 2023
According to the brief to Kenyan intelligence, Uganda operatives claim that the training is being conducted by a Kenyan based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Haki Centre which framed the workshop as a Civic education and voter training.
“We have information that those youth used different types of transport including boda bodas, communal taxes and ambulance of one of the political contestants in Kampala city. We have the capacity to pick them as we did to Dr Kizza Besigye and Obed Lutale and other opposition youths we picked from Kenya last year but this time, we have decided to use proper channels to avoid technicalities at the time of prosecuting them,” a senior operative said.
He claims that the said youths are being radicalized in activism with skills on scenario planning for demonstrations, attacking security officers using homemade explosives, teargas canisters and paper pray.
Other Civil Societies groups in the clandestine training include NUP Kenya Chapter, Kongamano La Mapinduzi, Mosquito Liberation Movement, Vocal Africa, LGBTQ groups and Free Movement Kenya.
This website can exclusively report that Ugandan security is very scared over the developments that took place during elections in Tanzania where over 2000 people were allegedly killed by security as a result of riots and demonstrations.
However, Tanzania authorities insist that there was a structured collaboration, mentorship, and skill building programs involving some Kenyan, Ugandan and Tanzanian civil society groups facilitated by foreign agents to topple Samia Suluhu’s government.
Ugandan intelligence claims that foreign countries with big interest in East Africa especially in Democratic Republic of Congo have deployed their operatives to supervise and man political changes in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania and in particular Kenyan activists have pocketed huge amounts of money to play a pivotal role in amplifying the move.
Because of that threat, sources said that presidents of the said countries agreed to work together to survive the move and recently Museveni declared that Kenyan top activities Bob Njagi and Nicholas Oyoo, who he called experts in rioting were arrested by his men and taught a lesson in what he called his fridge.
This website has established that it was the involvement of the former Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta after being approached by Idi Odinga wife to fallen Kenyan prominent politician Raila Odinga who implored him to save the situation because one of the detainees was her relative.
Uhuru used his good relationship with President Museveni and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba to save the situation as Kenyan government looked on.
On several occasions, President Museveni has been accusing Kenyan politicians especially Babu Owino of using their position to facilitate regime change in Uganda through frequently communicating with opposition strongman Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobo Wine).
Sources claim that in 2020, Bobi Wine established contact with Owino and a lady called Gladys, with the help of George Soros’ Open Society and rented a safe house near Kasarani Sports Complex to help in training Bobi Wine’s foot soldiers.
Operatives assert that foot soldiers were trained on how to attack security officers using a tactic called ‘ ‘basatu ku kido’’ which they exhibited when they returned to Uganda in October 2020 and some of them were involved in the 18-19 November 2020 riots in Kampala and beyond.
Operatives claim that Mityana Municipality legislator Francis Zaake was Bobi Wine’s contact in executing his political plans to destabilize Kampala after elections.
Operatives further claim that Zaake was tasked with the acquisition of the items that were needed to make petrol bombs such as bottles, refined sand, threads, and petrol and to coordinate the instruction.
Andrew Mwenda a season investigative political journalist claims that he has seen an intelligence report showing that several meetings were held at Bobi Wine’s elder brother Fred Nyanzi’s home and were chaired by a one Marvice Nakitende alias Maama Nsasagga and as a result political activists Olivia Lutaaya, Machete, Sanya and others were recruited.
The report further noted that the trio even admitted to participating in the plot before the military court before they were pardoned by President Museveni.
Sanya and other convicts confirmed to have carried out 12 petrol bomb attacks including at URSB offices along George Street, Nakulabye traffic lights, Clock tower, Kireka railway, Kasangati and other places
The development comes at a time when army acting spokesperson Col Chris Magezi has just issued a strong warning to opposition politicians that the army will not look on as they plan to destabilizing the country’s peace through inciting youths to participate in election violence.
However, on several occasions, Bobi Wine has been telling his supporters that their cause is nonviolent. He has been accusing security of provoking them and planting their operatives among his people to create violence especially at their campaigning rallies .
