Bukoto Central Member of Parliament, Hon Richard Ssebamala has asked Ugandans to embrace the reality that Gen. Muhoozi Kaineruga, the Chief of Defense Forces is by all means better than NUP President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, alias Bobi Wine.
Ssebamala made the revelation while speaking on a Tiktok podcast recently. He also asked Ugandans to outgrow only comparing thr First Son to only social media Posts.
NUP President Robert Kyagulanyi has often times said, Gen Muhoozi cannot do anything save for the shield he has as a son to H.E the President, Gen Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
However, Ssebamala listed a number of issues including the several trips Gen Muhoozi has made, visiting sitting Heads of States and Governments, adminstering the Ugandan Military, engagements with other Military Delegations and concluded that of all contenders for the next Presidency, Gen Muhoozi is far better that the semming competitors.
“Muhoozi’s network world wide is incomparable with any other person seeking to replace President Museveni. Can Bobi Wine even meet a single President in Ethiopia?” Ssebamala asked.
He added that we should turn to reality and stop paranioa when it comes to leadership and the strategic positioning of Gen Muhoozi “Whether he makes the appointements himself or through his father, Muhoozi is better.” He added.
He added that for Tiktok, people keep abusing Muhoozi and one another but in reality, “as of now he (Muhoozi) is not a normal person like me or Kyagulanyi. Even son to a cultural leader is always powerful. Then what of a son to the President?”
He mentioned that Muhoozi, being a first son, a soldier and leader of the UPDF and no soldier can dare him, he is learned and from the best institutions world over, among other qualities.
“How many times have you heard Gen Muhoozi speak? He only started speaking during the times of the institution of the Patriotic League of Uganda. The leader of thr UPDF has always been intelligent.” Ssebamala added.
