The National Resistance Movement EC boss Tanga Odoi has denominated Ms Nakku Fiona from the National Female Youth MP slot over old age.

The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Tribunal has today dismissed the election petition challenging the victory of Ms. Annet Nabirye as the party flagbearer for the Luuka District Woman Member of Parliament seat.

The two leaders made the revelation today during a joint press conference in Cairo on the second day of President Museveni’s three-day working visit at the invitation of President El-Sisi.President Museveni began by recalling the deep historical linkages between the two nations, both geographical and political.

The National Resistance Movement is anchored on four major principles, which include patriotism, Pan-Africanism, socioeconomic transformation, and Democracy.

However, Mubiru’s alleged abuse of power—leveraging wealth, security connections, and purported ties to State House to influence the NRM Secretariat and tribunal—has sparked outrage among Bisaso’s supporters and the Kassanda NRM fraternity, who see him as an outsider planted to undermine their democratic will.

During his tenure, he designed and managed research databases, conducted statistical analyses using Stata and supported major public health studies in collaboration with both local and international partners.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has directed that the indigenous fishermen will manage the lakes, assisted by the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF)’s Fisheries Protection Unit (FPU).
