In an effort to improve the quality of leadership areas including leadership, economic, security and other factors that fall into that exhaust, in his district there are various people who have come out to restore the glory of Mukono back on top.
The program was led by the indigenous people who have been in the area of Mukono, Buikwe, Buvuma and Kayunga for more than 70 years, through their association of Greater House Mukono Foundation.
Presenting the vision, the chairperson, Bishop Samuel Lwandasa said that the time has been a long time when the indigenous family they do not meet to discuss the issues of which are general wig for the good of their community which gave fanatics the opportunity to invade the community and destroy those that they found in place, He also pointed out the confusion and the fight against the sons and daughter who have got different position of service.
Bishop Lwandasa said that the local children have been abandoned and left out of various things which he said will further demoralize the situation in the area and that is why they have come out, to bring back their dignity and glory of Mukono.
He also asked the rest to hasten them to join them to have a voice and fight against land grabbing.
The Mukono Central Division ( GISO) Eddy Magera worried about the increasing theft, and the rampant corruption in the leaders given the responsibility in certain offices which he said is one of the things which has left Mukono in darkness and those who become not told.
Magera also urged various people who participated in the meeting to further strengthen unity, to forgive the disputes that have planted their communities behind.
In the same engagement it was also attended by the former 1st Deputy Sekiboob of Kyaggwe County Kato Matovu, who thanked the vision bearer of the idea of combining the people of Mukono and so that they can add a brick on the development of the country, and urged them to continue encouraging young generation to plant trees of fruit in their areas.
The residents who attended the meeting welcomed the program which they say will continue to unite them, the upbringing of children, and various advice they can do when there is a dispute that has arisen, and asked the civil servants to come out of office and consult them, especially when it comes to planning their communities.
