Entebbe Mayoral Race: Fabrice Rulinda in an early lead

Mr. Fabrice Rulinda is said to be leading in the polls for Entebbe Mayoral Race.

Rulinda (NRM) is contesting against nemesis Mike Kabwama Mutebi Nyamayaalwo and NUP’s Richard Ssekyondo.

Kabwama (Indep) and Ssekyondo chose to work together to protect the Mayoral vote against any rigging.

Also, despite having 7 garrison commands in Entebbe, the army chose to take a back seat from the electoral process within the area to ensure there isn’t any compromise.

The electoral commission also ensured that all Biometric Voter Verification Kits (BVVK Machines) operate for excellent results in Entebbe.

Well as this website is not mandated to announce results of the election, sources at the Wakiso tally center and those at the Entebbe Sub District tally center in Kisubi – Kawuku say, Rulinda has won at all polling stations save for only two in Entebbe.

Sources also claim, the Mayor is likely to take on a landslide since many of the opponents are now demoralized without contingency plans.

In 2021, Rulinda was announced winner of the election despite claims that he didn’t get the highest number of votes. Courts of Judicature however confirmed the Tolbert Musinguzi declaration that Rulinda was duly elected with the highest number of votes in Entebbe.
