Former RCC Burora, Speaker Among reconcile

Former Resident City Commissioner in charge of Rubaga Herbert Anderson Burora and Speaker of Parliament Annet Anitah Among have chosen a reconciliation path after months back and forth disagreements and attacks.

Burora, last year, made comments on his social media page that the Speaker believed were detrimental and false.

Burora was later suspended from the Office of the President and later chose to resign.

However, as both Burora and Speaker Among seek for elections in the forth coming NRM structures and the National Scene, each chose working together and out grow their bad blood.

Burora seeks to uproot Mr. Joel Ssenyonyi from Nakawa West while Speaker Among seeks to replace Rebecca Kadaga as the first National Female Vice Chairperson for the NRM Party.

Speaking at Parliament this weekend, Burora said, he had chosen an reconciliation path to which Speaker Among responded that she had forgiven him (Burora).
