Supporters of the Revolutionary Front have laughed at NUP President Robert Kyagulanyi, labeling him incompetent and unprepared for honest debates on the Political situation in the country.
The supporters have also dared Kyagulanyi to challenge their candidate, Muhammad Nsereko to a honest debate “on TV or at the NUP Head Quaters.”
Through their tiktok account @mindsetvibes, the supporters accused Kyagulanyi of making the NBS Barometer show a case of no genuine content by requesting to be hosted alone.
“He asked to be hosted alone and it was granted, for two good hours and he clearly said nothing. We now want him to come and challenge our candidate in a meaningful debate. It can even be at their Party Headquarters,” the supporters said.
On Tuesday this week, NBS TV hosted NUP President Robert Kyagulanyi on their Political talk show dubbed “Barometer Akaasameeme.”
However, many critics say, Kyagulanyi seemed to lack knowledge and kept meandering on real questions that were asked by host Adam Kungu.
The quest for a political debate contest between Hon Nsereko and Kyagulanyi has been welcomed amongst the different stakeholders in the opposition platforms.
It is not clear whether Kyagulanyi will agree to the debate contest. It is alleged that prior to his NBS debut, he pleaded with the Next Media CEO Kin Kariisa to send away all other panelists on the show.
Kyagulanyi, last month agreed to contest with the Chief of Defense Forces Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba in a boxing ring.
