President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has appointed Mr. Arthur Mugyenyi as the new Director General of the Internal Security Organization (ISO), succeeding the late Brig. Gen. Charles Oluka, who passed away on January 29, 2025.
Additionally, Mr. Tony Kinyera Apecu has been named Deputy Director General of ISO, replacing Col. Emma Katabazi, who has been appointed Deputy Ambassador.
Arthur Mugenyi has been serving as the Director Political Affairs at ISO.
