Kivumbi Creacent a male Ugandan aged 28, has announce his bid to contest for the Mawokota North MP seat in Mpigi District.
Born at Bukooza village in Kyanja Parish in Kammengo sub-County, Kivumbi is set to contest, first in the NRM primaries with former MP Anne Amelia Kyambadde and later in the General elections.
He lives in Mayembe lower, Ward D in Mpigi town council.
He comes from a peasantry family. From his Father Mzee James Lutaaya and Nabbanja Joyce, both are residents of Bukooza village in Kyanja Parish.
His mother is currently the secretary for women affairs in Bukooza village and a strong NRM supporter.
He’s typically a UPE and USE benefiary from Kabira Umea primary school and later St.Mark SS kammengo for UCE.He later joined mpigi mixed ss for UACE and he was among the best UACE students in 2012.
Kivumbi Crescent holds a bachelor’s degree in social sciences from Makerere University in 2020.
During his University time he was the mobiliser NRM chapter in Mitchel Hall In 2017-2019.
He’s a staunch supporter of the NRM party with strong attachment to PLU.
He’s currently the youth councilor mpigi town council as well as the Deputy Speaker of Mpigi town council.
He’s also the spokesperson of mutuba I mpigi mpigi town council in Buganda government. He’s now owns SURE Electronics in mpigi town.
Kivumbi Creacent is also personate about leadership, youth empowerment, and a strong sports fan.he recently funded the mpigi youth sports day held on 22 February 2025.
His current aspiration is for Member of Parliament Mawokota North 2026-2031
