Mpigi: There is growing fear within the population of Muduuma, a sub county in Mpigi District, that the whole Sendagala family, one of the most popular NUP Activists within the area, will be imprisoned for alleged politically motivated cases.
The Sendagala family, which comprises of Mr. Sendagala Timothy, Mrs. Nanvuma Rositter Sendagala, and their children Nansikombi Tricia Sendagala, and Kironde Yosia Trevor is being monitored covertly.
This website has learned that Mrs. Nanvuma Rositter Sendagala, the wife to Mr. Sendagala has declared to contest in the forthcoming general election slated for January 2026 as the woman Councillor L.C 5 representing Muduuma Subcounty at Mpigi District Local Government on the National Unity Platform ticket, the leading opposition party in Uganda.
The government has, on several occasions harassed opposition party leaders and supporters in a bid to curtail their liberties and tenacity to take over leadership.
Amongst those harassed in this family was Kironde Yosia Trevor whom our inside sources tell us now appears to have fled the country or lives in hiding, the whereabouts of the daughter Nansikombi is still being ascertained by the time of this publication. It should be recalled that Mrs. Nanvuma Rositter Sendagala and her son were arrested in 2023 after taking part in the organization of the one million match from Entebbe as opposition National Unity Platform leader Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine returned from a foreign trip in South Africa.
Now, sources within the Uganda Police Force close to this website intimated that instructions have been made by a number of State actors to kidnap all family members including Nansikombi Tricia Sendagala one of the children in the family.
“We are actually following all of them to find out where they usually hang out, how they move and make covert operations on effecting the decision,” a source within the Uganda Police told this website.
Mrs. Nanvuma Rositter Sendagala alone has been arrested twice this year, in January and in March as she engaged in grasroot political mobilization in Muduuma Sub County.
The family comes from the same Sub County with Mawokota North MP aspirant Amelia Anne Kyambadde who previously served as the Principal Private Secretary to the President (Yoweri Museveni) and later Minister of Trade and Industry.
